And we do act in the interest of this great country. Let's contemplate this for a moment..
We are highly educated, skilled law abiding immigrants. Since we do possess diverse skills, we will be always welcome in Canada, Australia or New Zeland, and other similar pro-immigrant oriented countries. But we choose to stay here and make this country our home and make this country even greater for our children.

when i spoke i didnt speak to normal CS rep they forwarded to me Info officer at Nebraska service center , now the key point is they clearly informed us that they have withdrawn the earlier notice and they said they have to open these july files. If they have just completed june filings they wouldnt have even touched july ones for sure. May be the ones returned which are very small in number are for casing whose dates are not current . for ex. if some one has sent app in normal pririty post expecting to reach on july 2 but reached early and got rejected it happened. so its pretty clear none of us have got the files back , all of three attorneys to comp said the same , my friends attorneys said the same , so we dont get in to too many things now , lets wait till next week or around 25th if we still dont receive then they asked me call back so that they can escalate this , she claims even when they reject they have to create a rejection letter and she clearly told that she was not aware that NSC did that type for these July ones.

If USCIS is approving H1B/L1 applications, for any Software job, with a B.Com or B.A degree, then defenitely, it's a high time for it to change the rules for the H1B educational qualifications. I don't mind to port to EB1, if its accepting online degress, by getting a Ph.d deegree from a tri valley online university :D.

Was just watching Late Edition on CNN..with Arlen Specter and Chuck Schumer.. Specter did mention that he expects the CIR to be passed in the next few weeks in the lame duck session by the house.. infact he mentioned that the conservative outgoing speaker Hastert in favour of this at this time..so house might pass this now..with the senate already passed this..

All that was asked - was to write to the Radio station using their website. Who asked anyone to picket?!!! Re-read my post. I asked members to call up and ask hard questions challenging his credibility. We have nothing to lose by doing so. If we make him fumble, he stands to lose a good following.
I'm part of that 10% that you're speaking about. Are you? Have you joined your state chapter? Did you march in DC? Are you a regular contributor?
What's wrong in using Gandhi's name? Are you allergic to the great man?
Any day a Gandhi quote is better than the - 'This can't be done. That can't be done. It's all in vain' statements, which are highly negative, demoralising and triter than the usage of Gandhi. At least Gandhi quotations are positive and uplifting. And we need that here to balance the pile of the negative statements that get posted.
It's a promise. Until you guys don't get tired of posting your negative and demoralizing posts, we won't be tired of invoking the Great man's name. We know it's vain to invoke Gandhi to you guys. But still hoping against odds that it may affect you in a positive way. :)
Well then why dont you picket against NumbersUSA, programmers guild et al too, i can name 20 conservative radio shows try emailing/talking them to change their opinion. I say this because i have emailed to a few and even tho they understand my point of view they will not change something that gets them ratings and propagates their cause.
IV has 25k members, i guess 10% out of those are really motivated to participate and ready do something, if you start diverting your resources towards such issues your team will not have much motivation or people remaining when you really need them to do something. IMO

Can you please explain little more about #2 ie. Open your own e-business and File E visa. What type of e-business to start? How to file E-VISA ? Have you filed yet ?

3) House listing in only done by realtor. Give option to customer. For fun open a site for people to list their house for sale. Give them free service then charge. Live American way.
4) Make school in Village. I have made one. I enjoy supporting the school. Grow India.
5) Don't worry about GC. Do something. Registering a site takes some $35 or 40. Built you site. Use American brain.
Am I doing it? Yes.. Did I make money? Yes.

I wrote letters to Charles Oppenheim who release the VISA Bulletin about not using the VISA Spill Over.. I think this is the best option today to make a lot of noise by writing letters and there is a good chance that he will take notice an d release the spill over.... I urge all to write 2 - 4 letters to him ASAP so that we can see some action before next bulletin...

it would make our plans to go back even more certian.. A MASS EXODUS of HIGH TECH WORKERS.. is exactly what this country needs..way to go!
If CIR S.1348 results as a death sentence to the draems of thousands of
hightech workers and eventually it results to a exodus i'm sure they will realize the mistake at the end.
When they will see that No one is interested in this country to study and Pursue STEM ( even with scholarship) and their problem is still unresolved they probably have to spend Double the Money to bringback Indians here.

My wife and I had our interviews on Jan 3rd. Consulate handed the passport to VFS on Jan 4th. DHL (i think) delivered at home on Jan 5th.
