I am in the same boat. Tho my GC has not been approved yet, I can only suggest that think twice before taking this important decision. If you go ahead and marry right now be prepared for a lot of stress, mental agony, coping with distance etc. I personally feel that this is not the best way to start a married life. I think it would be best to disclose everything to your future wife and her family and go ahead and marry once you have made arrangements that she can visit you on B1/H1/L1 etc or you have made plans to go visit India or be in a third country etc. Good luck and again my advice is not to rush into the marriage at this stage. Take your time and make a final decision after considering all angles.

Dubai, Bahrain i went there for project implementations. kuwait was my office place and i traveled those places for work.
But all those 3 countries are allies with US, people often consider Kuwait as US 53rd state. By any chance can we see that exempted countries list.
Maybe this is triggering delays but it should be ok.. do you have a muslim name? It may be that processing is slightly slower for muslims who have spent time in the middle-east.. it is a good idea to avoid travelling to places like Dubai etc - I know people get questioned more when they arrive from these places to the US.

My case was transferred from NSC to CSC, and then to TSC. I guess its because my I-140 was approved by TSC. I got my FP notices from TSC.

I asked you for the proof that 80,000 FBs are reserved for EB immigrants ( or somehow available !). You did not show me any !
There is no law that states USCIS should not consider country quotas during the last quarter. As per AC21 law USCIS should relax the quotas if the numbers are getting wasted (not already assigned to ROW). If USCIS works efficiently and assigns the visa numbers to EB3 ROW - which is retrogressed - before the end of third quarter, they don't need to relax country quotas in the fourth quarter.
In a way USCIS inefficiency is helping applicants from retrogressed countries get GCs faster (4th quarter relaxation) :).

Having said all this, I think it is safe to stay for a few months and then move on.. Wehave waited for nearly a decade.. what's the problem in staying for 4 months or so.. just take a vacation and go to India.. A month will go while in India, couple of months in planning and another month in recovering from Jet lag.. there you go.. it is 4 months now..

Pls do not lose heart.
speaking for myself, i have tried to remain active, but suddenly got swamped with a huge work-load.
in this economy, performance is a matter of survival. Not to say that we should accept immigration to be a luxury.
It is a pity i had to miss the donor's telecon last week, simply as i was still working.
So bottom line: there are still people who are willing to participate and active, but it is a matter of immediate priorities.
Let us keep up the spirit and keep working....

There are rumors that we will be around 5000 at the rally. Let's prove them wrong and bring at least 10,000 of our members. I am willing to share more funds for people who so far are not planning to attend, and to advertise and promote the rally as much as possible. Guys, we still have nearly 3 weeks, we can get to 10,000 and beyond! Let's work hard now to accomplish that! Please post your ideas here to make it more than 10,000. Unfortunately IRS doesn't help.. And employer get benefit of doubt for lost mail :-) But they'll send you a form to fill and submit instead of W2... At least thats what I experienced... I also thought that employer cannot withold W2.. But yes, they can... due to lost mail concept :-) They'd send W2 copy to IRS without fail.. just the mail to employee would be lost...
That reason if not genuine would be a lie and its a crime especially when it comes to tax matters and uncle sam is involved. I was advised by a atorney to file a complaint and in my case the customer care at IRS contacted the company HR directly.

Thanks so much man! Actually I was all set for Sept 13 but have a work appointment on Sept 18, yet I am even thinking of cancelling that to attend. I don't care how expensive it is.
