I think, there is no harm in calling the cops and let them know what has happened to be on safer side. Especially when you provide them your address, Did you by any chance?

Dear plassey,
Whatever IV is doing fine, nobody here denies that. But here are few points which I think eveybody else is trying to convey, which somehow you don't understand:
1. This site has an open forum where not only active members of IV, but other people (cowerds, that is what you think, you out-spoken fellow) also seek advice, share their experiences and hence help each other. And mind you, because of these all people, IV and this site also get so much popular.
2. The other point is WHY YOU PUSH SO MUCH FOR HELP. I think everybody understands the efforts of IV, but let the person decide himself/herself whether he/she wants to give money, go to DC ralley or not. Help is not demanded.
3. Please mind your language. I don't know why you have so much of anger and you use abusive, disturbing language for others. Its very easy to say a F* word, but very difficult to sort out others problems in decent and graceful manner. I don't think any group like IV (CARE, CRY and hundreds of NGOs in India) will push people like you do.
4. And people like you are shame for a group like IV (please ask pappu too to confirm) who spread negativity like you did in this thread.

Hi All FP seekers! I do not know what exactly I am missing if there is a delay in FP. It looks like hundreds of IV members are too much worried because of the 'delay' in FP. Let me worry too (by knowing the big problem!). Can any worriers explain??
On the other hand is it not better to have a late FP, so that you need not go again in the next 15 months! Anyway for most people GC is going to take years!

I spoke to a staff at Michael R. McNulty's office.
He comes to Albany on weekends only.
Rest of the time (5 days a week) he is in Washington.
We can meet staff members any time betwenn 9 to 5 (no appointment required).
Spoke to staff member at Schumer's office.
He is not available for a meeting.
Have set up a meeting (with staff) for 12th April 11am (nothing available for next 2 weeks).
I was actually just trying to find out if we could schedule an appointment with Schumer. Did not expect them to set up an appointment on the phone so fast.
We can change if this is not convenient.
I am not sure if this is gonna help, as it is 2 weeks away.

I need information about maternity insurance** in Texas (in particular Dallas). Your help and advice is highly appreciated.
What are your inputs on Maternity Advantage, I got this information from Pregnancy Insurance.org
Also please provide me info, if any, on hospitals which provides maternity insurance.
Any thoughs, suggestions, guidance, & information would be considered helpful is highly appreciated.

One suggestion, does senator Kennedy know about employment based immigration issues. Have we (IV) contacted him or his office to make sure he is aware of our issue? He has been and will remain a key figure and influencer in this. Just a suggestion that we keep his office abreast of the issues.

Specter agreed this morning with Kennedy's approach, provided that these illegal immigrants would not be able to start legalization proceedings until the backlog of 3 million people now waiting in countries around the world for their chance to come to the United States legally get their green cards.
Any comments or thoughts on this is highly appreciated.

I came to US in 1999 and for a month I did not get paid. I switched to another company and they filed me new H1 instead of transfer. From then, every H1 transfer I need to provide lots of documents to attorney and answer several RFE's for each h1 transfer. Being out of status(not illegal) concerend me a lot but now being illegal is the better than being out of status.
Having paid taxes for all the eight years and playing by rules does not help in America. It is so ironical now to see how legal people are digging their way back in time to find a period for which they wanted to be stamped illegal. All these days legals tried to cover up, but they are now PROUD and HAPPY to find such periods. The WORST is the poor fellows who have not even stayed illegal/out of status and played by rules 100%.
GOD BLESS AMERICA. Becoming illlegal is very easy, but if you want to be legal and get the GC, then it this is not the land.
Its funny that we tried so hard to stay legal. Now we trying very hard to find out ways to become illegal.

I changed it to clarify. The answer is YES, we have had 100% approvals for CA=MA, but we have done relatively few. This is based on Indian documentation that CA=PGD. However the stronger evidence points to CA=BA. As you can see someone on this board got an approval for our evaluation for a CA=MA with a professor's expert letter. The professor's letters are not cheap but effective.
In India, only UGC (University Grant Commission) is qualified to issue equivalency letters. Professor letter can be supplemental, but it can not be authentic certification, as UGC is only one to issue that.

There is no reason for you to pull out your 485. Get your divorce expedited and get married quickly and you should be OK as EB3 India is not really moving forward unless there is a visa recapture or something like that.
Your spouse will of course lose her 485 and will have to start afresh. But I assume she already knows this and is OK with that.

Believe it or not, I was about to open a thread like this. And here is the worst part, my AP has been approved 10 days ago, and so far neither the online status changed to approved nor i have received the approval copy. 2 ways I found out my AP was approved was through my local congressman and I took an infopass appointment. In the info pass appointment when I asked what is causing the delay in sending an approved AP, the officer says, if you did not get the approval notice in 45 days, call us back. This after waiting for more than 90days from the date of application. So, its not there until you have it in hand. Merely getting an approval these days is not enough, since they take anywhere upto 45 days to send the approval to you.
